Tuesday Teacups

Check out   Martha's Favorites and  Artful Afirmations for some lovely posts.

I have a couple of teacups to share this week, so I'm joining the party with Teacup Tuesday with Martha and Terri.  If you want to see some incredible teacups and beautiful things, check out their party either with the links above or with the buttons on my sideboard.

Both of these cups came thrift stores and cost me less than $10.00 each.  (That's my budget for teacups, unless, of course, it's one I just can't live without!)

This is a pretty little teacup made by Warwel.  I think the pattern is "Rose Spray".  As with most of the cups I pick up, it's the handle and the texture that draw me in and I have a weakness for footed cups it seems.

And recently I've been drawn to peach and peachy colored dishes.

And this is a cup by Coal Port china company.  I like the scalloped edges.

Thank you for visiting me.  I hope you will check out all the beautiful teacups posted for Teacup Tuesday.

Have a great week.

  2. Hi: I just love that peach Coalport. It is so beautiful. I am trying to resist looking for it on Ebay. Pedestal cups are my favorite too. They are so hard to find. You are lucky, and what a great price. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha

  7. I have the tea pot and sugar, creamer that match your Rose Spray! We use the sugar bowl daily. My mark says Royal Kent/Made in Poland. These designs were made by designers in WWII concentration camps and are still in use.

  8. Both your cups are lovely! I too like the look of the pedestal cup, but I am always afraid I will tip it over : )
You are a good shopper to find your cups under $10!

  14. I had to laugh at your teacup budget, under $10.00 unless..... That IS my budget!

I have not seen many peachy colored tea cups, or many such dishes at all and they are very pretty. A warming color without being over powering.

Thank=you for having me over to see your teacups~

  15. Yes, it's Wednesday, but I'm still making the rounds for Teacup Tuesday. Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Your peach-colored teacup is beautiful. I really don't think I've ever seen one that color before.

And your other cup? From Poland? Like I displayed a Russian teacup, which most have never seen before, I've never seen any Polish cups.

Hope you have a lovely week,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)
