Teacup and Saucer

This week I'm getting ready for my first round of company so I didn't have my afternoon tea break.  Pitiful, I know.  At any rate, I wanted to participate in Teacup Tuesday with Martha and Terri so as I was dusting I decided to post this little cup.

It's so simple in pattern and shape that it appeals to my spartan side!  I got it from a thift store efor $1.00.  How could I not give it a home!

I like the little squared off handle.

It says it's PMR Bavaria and a word I can't read.

I am also posting this saucer that I found at the same time.  I fell in love with the flowers on it and am always on the hunt for a cup to go with it.

Thanks so much for visiting and to those wonderful ladies who host Teacup Tuesday.

  1. Hello :) This is a very sweet teacup, and you can never go wrong with Bavarian china! The little blue flowers are so sweet. Hopefully one day you will find the cup that matches the saucer.

Wishing you a Happy Teacup Tuesday!

    Warmest, Brenda

What amazing things one can find at thrift stores, huh? The teacup is lovely, but I absolutely LOVE the saucer. I hope you are able to find a cup to go with it.
